Natural Face Scrubs:

Face scrubs are so easy to make, all of the ingredients are typically in your kitchen, and the combinations could be endless!
People typically make their scrubs with either sugar or salt, depending on the type of exfolation desired, but there are also scrubs made with coffees, teas, or activated charcoal. Typical ingredients include, but aren't limited to:
Brown Sugar
Raw Sugar
Refined Sugar
Superfine Sugar
Iodized Salt
Epsom Salt
Sea Salt
Apple cider and White vinegar
Lemon Juice
Honey
Coffee
Loose-Leaf tea
Coconut oil
Almond Oil or Sweet Almond Oil
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Cocoa Butter
Shea Butter
Essential Oils
Here are a few recipes with multiple exfliation intensities:
Lavender and Lemon sugar scrub:
3-4 T Extra Virgin Olive Oil, or Coconut Oil
1/2 C Sugar, (Regular or superfine)
7 drops Lavender and Lemon Essential oils
A Pinch of Lavender flowers (Optional)

Moisturizing Honey Coffee Scrub:
1/2 C Coffee grounds, (Coarse or fine, Fresh is better)
4 T Coconut Oil
2 T Cocoa Butter
1 T Organic Honey
Combine melted wet ingredients, add dry to wet, and place into a jar to let cool, completely.

Activated Charcoal, Lemon Scrub:
5 T. Coconut oil
2 Tsp Lemon juice
1 t Lemon Zest, (Optional)
1/2 C Activated Charcoal
Combine wet ingredients, then add dry intgredient.
Refresh with this Lemon Charcaol scrub! The natural estringent properties of lemon and charcoal work together to clean out and invigorate your pores, while also leaving your face moisturized by the silkiness of Coconut oil.
