Making natural deoterant is easy! All you need are the right ingredients, which consist of: *Baking soda *Shea butter *Cocoa butter *Coconut oil *Vitamin E oil *Beeswax
*Zinc Oxide Powder *Arrow root powder *Bentonite powder *Essential oils
However, today we'll only be using the following:
Deodorant Recipe 1 – Ingredients
3 T Coconut Oil
3 T Baking Soda
2 T Shea Butter
1 T Cocoa Butter
2 T Arrowroot (optional)
Essential Oils (optional)
Deotorant Recipe 2 – Ingredients
1/4 cup (4 T) baking soda
1/4 cup (4 T) arrowroot, Bentonite powder, or cornstarch
essential oils (optional)
6 T coconut oil
1 T Beeswax
Step 1:
In a double boiler, liquify wet ingredients, except essential oils.
Step 2:
Remove from heat and slowly add dry ingredients, then essental oils, if desired. (If you add your essential oils while the base oils are really hot, some of their properties may cook off.)
Step 3:
Pour deotorant into your deotorant containers, or jars, lightly tap the container to get any air bubbles out, then let dry completely before covering with lids.
Keep in a dry cool place. Refrigeration is not required.
And you're done! Piece of cake. Have a recipe you'd like to share? We'd love to see them!
